A ministry designed to actively and creatively reach out to the community with the Good News of the Gospel.
ALPHA - An opportunity to learn about the basics of the Christian faith in an informal atmosphere. Sessions include a meal, presentation and ample time for discussion and conversation. There is no cost involved.

NEW MEMBER MINISTRY - Interested in learning more about Christianity, our Lutheran tradition and Resurrection's ministry? New Member Classes are offered periodically throughout the year. Join us for lunch and conversation!

A ministry designed to plan, promote and enhance all worship services so that God and Christ may be praised and glorified.
ALTAR GUILD - The Altar Guild prepares the church for worship and other special festival celebrations and events.

CHANCEL CHOIR - This choir helps lead worship during the 8:30 AM service. The choir is open to anyone 14 or older. Rehearsals are held on Thursday between 7:00-9:00 PM.

PRAISE TEAM - The Praise Team leads worship during the 10:15 AM service. This service features vocalists and instrumentalists who glorify God with contemporary, uplifting music.

HOST FAMILIES - Volunteers provide wine for 8:30 AM service and prepare the communion trays and assist the pastor in the distribution of the elements.

USHERS - Duties include handing out bulletins, collecting attendance cards and offering and serving as hosts to members and guests.

JUBILEE RINGERS - Bell choir for youngsters between 3rd and 8th grade. The choir plays throughout the year and rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00 PM.

CELEBRATION RINGERS - Bell choir for 8th graders to adult. The choir performs throughout the year and for special festival services. Rehearsals are on Thursday at 6:00 PM.

PRAYER MINISTRY - Our "Prayer Warriors" meet on Friday mornings at 9:00 AM. Prayers are lifted up to God for those who have special needs and concerns.

A ministry designed to plan, promote and encourage Christian Education and spiritual growth among members of the congregation and community.
ADULT FORUM - Study groups that meet on Monday mornings at 10:30 AM and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM for Bible study and discussion. Other topics include conversations about religion, ethics and societal concerns.

7:00 PM for sharing, fellowship, study and prayer.

CURSILLO - Cursillo means "a short course in Christianity." Thursday evening through Sunday retreats offered offsite three times a year.

SUNDAY SCHOOL - Opportunities for Christian Education are offered for pre-school through Senior High youth throughout the year. Classes begin following "Kid's Talk" during the 10:15 AM service.

CONFIRMATION - A three year program of instruction for youth in the 6th-8th grades. Classes meet mid-week and incorporate study, social and service activties.

DEACON MINISTRY - Deacons are selected by the pastor to assist with worship, hospital and shut-in visits.

A ministry designed to promote fellowship and social bonding throughout the congregation.
DINNERS FOR EIGHT - Groups meet once a month for four months in homes or at restaurants for fellowship and mutual support. A great way to meet new folks!

JOANNE'S BOOK CLUB - A monthly meeting of women who love books and discussion.

RESURRECTION GOLF CLASSIC - An annual event to support our Preschool. The tournament is followed by a dinner. Event is held in September or October.

MEN'S SOFTBALL - Our team -"Bat Attitude" plays throughout the year. Games are generally on Sunday evenings.

PAPER ROLLERS - This group meets Thursday mornings at 9:00 to separate and roll newspapers. These are sold and proceeds are contributed to special projects and ministries.
